Missions & Ministries

At Nechako Community Church, we believe that being part of the church means looking beyond our own congregation and sharing God’s love with others. We are thankful for the opportunity to support missionaries, ministries, and charitable work both locally and around the world.

Missions Around the World
Through various organizations, we support missionaries serving in different parts of the world. Julie Simeon works with YWAM in missionary care, while Jose and Evelyn Gepula serve in Lagos, Philippines, and Danny and Ana Morosan serve in Romania. Through Multiply, we support Robert and Marlene Bareg in Mongolia, where they operate a tree farm and use their work as an opportunity to disciple and encourage others in their faith.

Supporting Our Local Community
We are also grateful for opportunities to support organizations and charitable work closer to home. Through One Hope Canada, we support Darcy and Cherianne Milroy and their family, who help care for and maintain the facilities at Echo Lake Bible Camp. We also provide financial support to NeighbourLink, supporting their work to serve and care for people in our local community.

Ministry at NCC
Within our own church family, we have several ministries that provide opportunities for fellowship, growth, and connection, including Caleb’s Kin, Ladies Coffee Time, and Sunday School. Our Elders are also working toward developing more opportunities for adult discipleship and spiritual growth, with the desire to encourage our congregation to grow in their faith and live for Christ both within the church and in their everyday lives.
